Country singer Lynn Anderson was best known for singing “(I Never Promised You a) Rose Garden.” She died in Tennessee on July 30. The cause of death was cardiac arrest. She was 67. Lynn Anderson was the daughter of country songwriters Casey and Liz Anderson. Liz Anderson died in 2011 from complications of heart and lung disease. She was 81.
Lynn Anderson is survived by her father Casey, her partner, country songwriter Mentor Williams, and her children, Lisa Sutton, Melissa Hempel and Gray Stream.
