Geist is the 40-year-old co-anchor of MSNBC’s Morning Joe and NBC’s Today’s Take — the third hour of The Today Show. He’s also the co-author of The New York Times bestselling book Good Talk, Dad, which he wrote in 2014 with his father Bill Geist who was a New York Times columnist and CBS correspondent. Willie’s sister Libby is also in the TV biz. She’s a two-time Peabody Award-winning documentary film producer at ESPN. Willie is married to his high-school sweetheart, Christina Sharkey. They have two children, an 8-year-old daughter and five-year-old son.
