One Direction released its new single Drag Me Down which will be on the band’s fifth studio album. It’s their first without the recently departed Zayn Malik. Billboard says with lyrics including “All these lights, they can’t blind me/With your love, nobody can drag me down” the song is an ode to their loyal fans, Directioners.
“The best news for One Direction fans is that the quartet does not sound incomplete” without Malik, who is pursuing a solo career with RCA Records. With Malik gone, there’s more time for each member to shine.
