Alessia Cara is the 19-year-old Canadian singer who is making a big splash in the US with her summer hit Here. She was discovered on YouTube where she posted tons of her acoustic song covers. Now she’s working with Def Jam Recordings on her upcoming full-length album. But before that, she’s dropping her debut EP, Four Pink Walls, on August 28.
MTV described Cara’s song Here as “a song for everyone who secretly hates parties.” Well, maybe not every party. Cara looked pretty happy after making her live television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on July 29.
