Fear The Walking Dead. As if you didn’t. Given the timing of blockbusters this year, TV is ruling over the big screen at this week’s Comic-Con International. But both TV and the movies have one sure thing in common: they’ve always been great at spin-offs and prequels. When either medium has a hot property you can bet you’re going to see as many incarnations (and sometimes, sadly, more) as the property can carry. You don’t get much hotter than AMC’s Walking Dead, so the good people at AMC are fulfilling viewers desires for more zombies.

Fear The Walking Dead — even the title knows not to stray far from the source — premieres on AMC August 23. The new trailer just dropped at Comic-Con and it’s, well, lively for being so dead. These, btw, are West Coast characters just after the zombie apocalypse went down.
