Benton Blount is a “country crunk” singer from North Carolina. He’s auditioning on America’s Got Talent, and he’s going to smoke ‘em. How do we know? Because popular bands like Demon Hunter have his back and are helping to spread the good word about Blount.

When not on stage, Blount is a stay-at-home dad in Greenville. The 35-year-old musician plays his “country as cornbread” music on the weekends. He told The TrTribune: “It has been a hard road. One minute you are signed with a label and the next minute it closes its door and I had to start all over again,” he said. America’s Got Talent just might open another door. AGT airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
