The Burke family is learning to adjust to the small, mysterious town of Wayward Pines. Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon) has become the new sheriff in town, after “something” took away Sheriff Pope (Terrence Howard). Ethan’s wife Theresa (Shannyn Sossamon) is offered a job as a real estate agent. And on his first day of school, Ethan’s and Theresa’s son Ben receives private tutoring from Wayward Pines’ nightmare of a teacher Megan Fisher.
Megan is portrayed by Hope Davis. She’s best known for her roles in the films About Schmidt with Jack Nicholson, Joe Gould’s Secret with Ian Holm, The Secret Lives of Dentists with Stanley Tucci, Proof with Anthony Hopkins, and on TV shows The Newsroom and Allegiance. Wayward Pines airs Thursdays at 9pm on Fox.
