On The Fosters, Lena is not a big fan of her estranged half-brother Nathan. A long time ago, Nathan called her mother “a hateful, awful name.” Viewers are lead to believe it was a racial epithet. It’s been 20 years since Lena’s seen Nathan, and now he and Lena’s parents are coming for a visit. Lena is still waiting for an apology from Nathan.
Nathan is portrayed by Travis Schuldt. He’s best known for his roles on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Ben, The Soldier), and Scrubs (Sarah Chalke’s forgiving boyfriend Keith). Schuldt is married to Justified actress Natalie Zea. They met on the set of the 2000 soap opera Passions. They’re expecting their first child this fall. The Fosters airs Mondays at 8pm on ABCFAM.
