The protagonist of the TV series Complications is an ER doctor in the suburbs, Dr. John Ellison. Ellison’s life is turned upside down when he intervenes in a drive-by shooting. He saves a young boy’s life but the boy is still marked for death. The good doctor is compelled to save his life at any cost.
Ellison is portrayed by Jason O’Mara. The Irish-born actor is best known for his roles in The Good Wife (Damian Boyle), Sons of Liberty (George Washington), and Vegas (Deputy Jack Lamb). Or you might recognize his voice from Batman video games: he provides the voice of the superhero in Batman vs. Robin, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis
