Justin Ballasy claims he was the only tap dancer at the So You Think You Can Dance auditions in New York. It’s hard to believe he was the only hoofer trying out for Team Street but it’s easy to believe that he’s going to Vegas.
The 19-year-old from Philadelphia has been honing his skills since the age of 4. He’s known for his “sensational improvisational ability, stylistic choreography, and notable performance skills.” He’s currently performing with Tap Team Two (in Philly) but has been a member with the Tap City Youth Ensemble in New York and the New Jersey Tap Ensemble. Ballasy is also a student at Muhlenberg College. He’ll graduate in 2018. So You Think You Can Dance airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
