On Real Housewives of New York, all the ladies gather in the Berkshires to celebrate Dorinda Medley’s birthday. An extravagant dinner is prepared. They even hire a gourmet sushi chef. Bethenny Frankel announces that she doesn’t eat fish — only shellfish — but says there’s nothing to worry about. She’ll tell the chef. Plus, she knows what she can and cannot eat.
But when Heather Thomson hears that Bethenny can’t eat fish she goes into mommy mode and offers her everything else, including meatballs. Bethenny says no thanks but Heather won’t let it go — she’s insulted Bethenny won’t accept her attention. “I don’t want attention,” Bethenny explained across the dinner table. “But that makes it sound like I’m suffocating you,” replies Heather, in disbelief. “I just want the wall up!” says Bethenny.
