Actress Jill Whelan is a former child star. She’s best known for her roles as Vicki Stubing on The Love Boat and the sick girl in Airplane! Now 48, Whelan is proud of the fact that she hasn’t been arrested…yet. She has a great sense of humor which will be on display on Celebrity Wife Swap.
Whelan, in an ocean voyage throwback, will swap places with a recurring guest star on The Love Boat, Charo. “The Cuchi Cuchi Girl” is almost 20 years older than Whelan but still has a young, playful spirit. Charo will bring that playfulness to Whelan’s home in the San Fernando Valley where she lives with her two sons. (Whelan is recently divorced. Her sister Nancy helps Whelan parent the kids.) Whelan’s younger son, Grant, 9, is adorable. “My mom’s famous but she acts like a normal mom.” Wait until he meets Charo. Celebrity Wife Swap airs Wednesdays at 10pm on ABC.
