It’s going to be a good year for Janet Jackson. She’s making a comeback. She’s working on her first album in six years. She’s running her own record label, Rhythm Nation Records. And she’s receiving the first-ever Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award at the BET Awards (June 28, 8pm, BET).

Her first single from the new album, No Sleep is smoking hot. The Verge says the “slinky, stormy bedroom fare” is a “fait accompli.” (Or at least Jackson gets that French into the chorus.) Vanity Fair selected No Sleep as the Best Song of the Week. Miss Jackson’s Unbreakable tour will kick off in August in Vancouver, Canada.
