Gwen Greenblatt, a 35-year-old married massage therapist, was murdered in her West Palm Beach apartment in 2003. She was talking on her cellphone while she entered the house and then screamed and dropped the phone. Greenblatt was shot twice in the head and left for dead in a closet. Matthew Greenblatt, Gwen’s estranged husband, was a prime suspect but no conclusive evidence was found back then linking him to the crime. According to The Morning Call, the former salesman is currently working as a successful professional bass fisherman. BassFan.com reports that Matt Greenblatt’s career earnings as of July 2014 were $171,971.
Kelly Siegler and Yolanda McClary of the TV show Cold Justice are investigating the 12-year-old cold case. They say “there’s one smooth-talking suspect, maybe even two.” They’re investigation will air Friday, June 5 (8pm on TNT).
