On August 3, 2013, Hannah Anderson had just finished cheerleading practice when she was abducted by an unstable family friend named James DiMaggio. He took the 16-year-old away from her San Diego suburb after killing her mother and brother. An Amber Alert was issued but it took the FBI one week to find DiMaggio and Hannah in Idaho.
