The Bachelor Chris Soules and his professional dance partner Witney Carson were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. Although Soules has been improving on the dance floor, his elimination didn’t come as a great surprise. But what was surprising was his reaction to the elimination.
Time was running out on the broadcast, and DWTS co-host Erin Andrews asked Soules what was the most meaningful part of his DWTS experience. Soules was too choked up to speak. “Ask her,” Soules said, nudging his partner Carson. Erin’s co-host Tom Bergeron then jumped in–“I’m not letting you off the hook”–and asked Soules how he felt. With tears in his eyes, Soules said it was an amazing experience. “I’m eternally grateful.”
