Actress Kirstie Alley (Cheers, Look Who’s Talking) is back on a healthy track (she’s lost 50 pounds!) and working with Jenny Craig. Alley’s not just a spokesperson featured on Jenny Craig ads — she’s co-branding three organic weight loss products, too: Organic Liaison’s Rescue Me (an energy elixir with B vitamins and green tea), Organic Liaison’s Release Me (instant vitamin and mineral beverage powder for your bones), and Organic Liaison’s Nightingale (a vitamin and herbal liquid to help you get a good night’s sleep, which is important when you’re trying to lose weight).
Alley’s been trending for a funny reason, after being mistaken for another famous weight loser, NJ Gov. Chris Christie. Like Christie, she’s not afraid to hammer back at critics. When Alley tweeted about her line of products, the host of The Pit on on 98.9 The Rock in Kansas City (Mon-Sat night at 11pm) wrote “please don’t.” Alley replied, “hey hey HEY! Don’t be a douche this early ..save it for later :).”
