On the Lifetime movie Collision Course, a solar flare hits a passenger plane. On board is author Kate Park. She was on her way home to her daughter after a long book tour. Ironically, Kate’s book is about the attempted cover up of her husband’s death in a plane crash. When Kate’s plane is hit, leaving the pilot dead and knocking the co-pilot unconscious, Kate teams up with flight attendant Jake Ross (David Chokachi) to keep everyone calm. Without any flying experience, Kate finds a way to land the plane safely with limited communication with air traffic control.
Kate Parks is portrayed by Tia Carrere. She’s been in tons of TV shows including The A-Team, MacGyver, Quantum Leap, Married with Children, and Curb Your Enthusiasm, among others. But she’s best known as Cassandra, Wayne’s girlfriend in Wayne’s World. She also provides the voices for Judy Reeves of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and Nani of Lilo & Stitch: The Series. Collision Course will air on LMN on April 26 at 8pm.
