Actress Stephanie March of Law & Order: SVU (A.D.A. Alexandra Cabot) and her husband celebrity chef Bobby Flay are divorcing. Both have retained high-powered lawyers. Page Six reports that the couple, who married in 2005, has “an ironclad prenuptial agreement in place.” According to TMZ, the prenup only requires Flay (who’s worth about $20 million) to pay March $1 million to buy her out of the $8 million house that Flay will keep. March “also gets $50k so she can pack up her stuff and move.”
March’s attorney released a statement. “It’s a really difficult time for Stephanie, both because of this, and she’s helping her mother, who has some health issues. And [she] is contending with her own health issues,” he said. March has suffered from endometriosis and reportedly “needed an emergency appendectomy from complications of the condition last year.”
