Australian singer-songwriter Sia is known for not appearing in her music videos (Elastic Heart), and for hiding her face during live performances and on the red carpet. She tends to hide her eyes with long banged wigs or hats designed in the form of a lampshade. It’ll be interesting to see what she does at the annual fundraiser for the Los Angeles LGBT Center. She’ll headline with No Doubt and comedian Sarah Silverman, who will certainly draw in crowds. But one way to guarantee more ticket sales would be the promise of seeing Sia’s face!
Music hitmaker Linda Perry, co-chair of the gala, wants to raise $1 million dollars this year. “It would mark the highest single event fundraiser in the center’s history,” said Perry. The event will be held on May 16 at the Hollywood Palladium.
