On the CW hit series The Flash, Mark Mardon – aka Weather Wizard – returns to Central City to avenge the death of his brother Clyde. Weather Wizard is coming after Detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), the man who shot Clyde.
Weather Wizard is portrayed by Liam McIntyre. The 33-year-old Australian actor is best known for his roles as Spartacus in Spartacus: War of the Damned, Sotiris in The Legend of Hercules, and Detective Senior Constable Dan Wild in The Killing Field. Fun fact: McIntyre is currently working on a short film called Troll Bridge based on a Terry Pratchett story. (Pratchett died on March 12, 2015.) It’s about an elderly barbarian who, with his talking horse, embarks on a suicidal quest to fight a troll. Troll Bridge will be released in Australia in May 2015. (We hope it makes it to the States!) The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CW.
