On the TV show Person of Interest (March 10, 10pm, CBS), Reese and Finch try to protect an unorthodox psychologist, Dr. Shane Edwards. The doctor uses unconventional ways to help patients get some closure in their lives, but his methods put his life in danger.
Dr. Shane Edwards is portrayed by British actor Patrick Kennedy. Although he does resemble that other British actor (Jonny Lee Miller on Elementary), Kennedy’s resume speaks for itself. He’s best known for his TV roles as Terence Sampson on Downton Abbey, and Dr. Douglas Mason on Boardwalk Empire. Kennedy’s next big role is in the forthcoming film about Sherlock Holmes, Mr. Holmes, starring Ian McKellen as a retired Holmes. Oh wait, maybe it’s just the shared Sherlock Holmes pedigree that made us think of the Elementary actor. Because Kennedy is definitely a unique presence on the screen. Person of Interest airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CBS.
