On Supernatural, Crowley captures Olivette, the leader of the Grand Coven, for his mother. Isn’t that sweet? Well, it wasn’t totally his idea – Crowley is still under a spell cast by his mother, the witch Rowena. Rowena was banished from the Grand Coven because her magic was deemed “too extreme.” Now she wants to convince Olivette, her rival, to life the ban. She wants to be able to practice magic again.
Olivette is portrayed by Teryl Rothery. She recent starred in the TV shows Cedar Cove (with Andie MacDowell) and Arrow (as Jean Loring). But Rothery is best known for her role as Dr. Janet Fraiser on Stargate SG-1. Rothery has a soft spot for fantasy and sci-fi. She’s made guest appearances on all three of the longest running North American science fiction series: The X-Files, Stargate SG-1, and Smallville. Supernatural airs Wednesdays at 9pm on CW.
