iZombie is a comic book series created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred that’s been turned into a TV series on CW. On the show iZombie, a part-zombie named Olivia “Liv” Moore who works at a coroner’s office helps Seattle police solve murders by eating the brains of victims. You read that right. Not only does eating the brains “give her sustenance and allow her to maintain her humanity” but it also allows her to experience a victim’s memories which can be used to help solve that person’s murder.
Olivia “Liv” Moore is portrayed by Rose McIver. The 26-year-old from New Zealand is best known for her TV roles in Masters of Sex (Vivian Scully), Once Upon a Time (Tinker Bell), and Power Rangers R.M.P. (the yellow one). McIver was also in the film The Lovely Bones; she played the little sister Lindsey. iZOMBIE will premiere on March 17 at 9pm on CW.
