Or, Who Is Bearclaw in New Girl?After a night of partying, New Girl Jess (Zooey Deschanel) finds herself in bed with Bearclaw. Bearclaw is the beer delivery guy who Jess mistakenly sent dirty texts to. (She meant to send them to Andy.) The good news is Jess is still fully clothed when she wakes up with Bearclaw. She manages to leave with Cece. Together they take the long walk home, aka the walk of shame. In their wrinkled dresses and high heels. walking in a hangover haze, the two young women get taunted by passersby.
Bearclaw is portrayed by Josh Gad. He’s been in a ton of TV shows including 1600 Penn, Californication, and Modern Family, and in big movies including Jobs (Steve Wozniak) and The Internship (Headphones). But Gad might be best known – or heard – as Olaf in the Disney animated film Frozen. You’ll be seeing or hearing more of Gad. He’s working on Adam Sandler’s next comedy/sci fi flick Pixels and he’s providing the voice of Chuck in the highly anticipated 2016 movie Angry Birds. New Girl is Tuesday at 9pm on FOX.
