On Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the team helps Lady Sif regain her memory after a severe battle with a warrior. That must have been some battle. As an Asgardian warrior, Sif has been through a lot physically. Anyone who reads Thor comics or has seen the 2011 Hollywood blockbuster Thor with Chris Hemsworth knows that.
The Lady Sif on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is portrayed by the same actress who played Sif in Thor, Jaimie Alexander. The 30-year-old grew up a tomboy in Texas with three older brothers and a young brother. In high school she was on the wrestling team! Alexander is also bringing her physical prowess to the film sets of London Fields with Johnny Depp and his new wife Amber Heard, who plays a clairvoyant femme fatale, and Broken Vows with The Hunger Games’ Wes Bentley. The episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. featuring Lady Sif/Jaimie Alexander airs Tuesday, March 10, 9pm on ABC.
