Former child actress Raven-Symoné (Olivia on The Cosby Show, star of That’s So Raven) is surprising Lucious and the Lyon family on the new TV drama Empire. She’s slimmed down and matured since you last saw her. On Empire, Raven-Symoné plays a “mystery woman from the family’s past” who shows up with a “big, not particularly welcome surprise.” She’s joining a number of celebrities who are making guest appearances on Empire, including Courtney Love and Cuba Gooding, Jr.
The musically inclined Empire is hot and it makes perfect sense for Raven-Symoné. The former Cheetah Girl is back in the studio recording her fifth studio album. It’ll be her first since her self-titled 2008 album. After Empire, Raven-Symoné will guest star on the Disney Channel show K. C. Undercover.
