Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss produced a musical called “A Mother’s Love.” The show was about her rocky relationship with her mother and then fiancé Todd Tucker (they’re married now and trying to have a baby). “A Mother’s Love” was well received in Atlanta so Burress hired a promoter to take the show on a multi-city tour. After just three cities, Burruss had to cancel the tour. She said, “I am very saddened and frustrated by the cancellation of the tour.”
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “the promoter who licensed the tour didn’t have a lot of spare cash flow going into the tour with a presumption that early advance sales would carry them forth.” Burruss wrote on Instagram: “It breaks my heart that we won’t be able to put on this show for my fans who have bought tickets, & who all were looking forward to seeing it. I stand with them in disbelief and despair that this has happened and was caught off guard as well.” She then said the cancellation was beyond her control. “Please don’t hold it against me!” she added. “I know that a lot of tickets were sold & from what I understand they will be refunded.”
