Irina Shayk is the 29-year-old Russian model who was on the cover of the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She’s also known for dating soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo for five years (2010-2015). While she’s had a successful career as a model – featured on the covers of all the top fashion magazines all over the world – Vogue, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Allure – she’s now pursuing an acting career.
The 29-year-old starred in Kanye West’s Power video but she made her real acting debut as Megara in the 2014 film Hercules. (She played Dwayne Johnson’s wife.) Shayk said she loved every minute of filming: “Most of the time when I do shoots, they try to make you really pretty. You have to look your best. I loved the set, being covered in mud and fake blood – it was different and fun!” Film directors take note.
