Beautiful, enigmatic Christina Ricci is trending after calling designer Marc Jacobs latest collection “visionary.” The veteran actress does have a way with words. She tweets infrequently but with passion, recently letting the world know that she “can’t wait for the Oscars,” adding, “Gowns and Neil Patrick Harris? It’s just too much.” (Too much is certainly an astute description of the Oscars! Just ask the guy who tries to stop the speeches.)
Ricci sat front row for the recent Jacobs show where Nicki Minaj and Sofia Coppola were also taking in the action. The elegant collection drew raves. Asked about Jacobs, Ricci gushed “I have, like, so many. A crazy amount. As soon as I was buying nice stuff, it was Marc.” For an actress who hit it big in Mermaids when she was just ten years old, that means a lot of Marc in her closet(s). And there will doubtless be a lot of Marc Jacobs at the Oscars. And a lot of Neil Patrick Harris. And hopefully a lot of fun.
