After American Idol on Thursday, January 15, 17-year-old Vine star Matthew Espinosa will be interviewed on FOX 5. He shows reporter Lauren DeMarco how he makes his popular 6-second videos that are seen and shared by his 4.9 million followers. Now living in Los Angeles (he’s from Virginia), he’s been showing up at lots of A-list events with celebs like Justin Bieber, Fergie and One Direction.
Espinosa says he’s been getting a lot of advice from a lot of people: “You have a bunch of different celebrities who have been in the industry for ten to 20 years talking to you and giving you advice,” he said. “You really are honing in on what they are saying because they have been through it all.” Espinosa says he likes having a positive impact on people.
