The hit TV drama The Good Wife is off to an exciting start. The first new episode of 2015 airs Sunday, January 4 at 9pm on CBS. Attorney Cary Agos has accepted a plea bargain on drug charges and will spend four years in prison. He hires a prison consultant to prepare him for incarceration while Alicia practices for the State’s Attorney candidates’ debate. When asked about her partner’s guilty plea, Alicia explains: “It’s important to remember that even innocent people sometimes plead guilty.”
But the law firm of Florrick, Agos & Lockhart hasn’t given up yet on Cary. They throw one last Hail Mary. Led by partner Diane Lockhart, the firm tries their best to find a violation in the work of the State’s Attorney. They have five hours and 30 minutes to find it before Cary is taken into custody.
