Actor Russell Crowe (Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, LA Confidential) visited South Korea for the first time this week. He’s promoting his new film The Water Diviner. When he arrived at Incheon International Airport, he was mobbed by a large crowd of fans.
The mob scene wasn’t totally impromptu. The 50-year-old told his fans he was on his way. Hours before, he tweeted: “I’m off to South Korea on Saturday. My first time – who’s got the intel on Seoul?” He added, “I wonder if anyone in South Korea knows I’m coming?” Crowe stars in and directs The Water Diviner, btw. It’s about an Australian farmer who goes to Turkey after the Battle of Gallipoli during WWI to find his missing three sons.
