Rapper Macklemore (born Ben Haggerty) and his finacee Tricia just announced that they’re having their first baby. They did so with a sweet, beautiful video filmed by Jason Koening. In a doctor’s office, while Tricia is having a sonogram, they see and hear their baby for the first time. The camera is there to capture the moment that Macklemore (and now his fans) will never forget.
While most fans are sending words of encouragement and congratulations, there are some who believe Macklemore just jumped the shark. “Make a new album already,” wrote Roronoa Zoro Zoro. Sater14523 chimed in, “This is cool and all…but when that album coming out?” No word on when the next album is coming but the baby is due in May 2015.
