While everyone was watching the Golden Globes, the fourth season of Girls premiered on HBO with a splash. In one of the first scenes, Marnie (Allison Williams) gets pleasured or “motorboated” by Desi who is played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
Vulture interviewed Allison’s famous father, NBC anchorman Brian Williams, about watching the graphic scene. He said, “She’s always been an actress. For us, watching her is the family occupation and everybody has to remember it’s acting, no animals were harmed during the filming, and ideally nobody gets hurt.” Moss-Bachrach, the actor who goes below deck, says he thinks the scene came about from Girls creator Lena Dunham wanting to “tighten the screws on Allison.”
