50 Cent is jealous of Empire star Terrence Howard’s light skin, according to Howard’s Empire co-star Taraji P. Henson. 50 Cent, who produces a somewhat similar show on Starz called Power, has knocked the Lee Daniels-produced Empire for borrowing Power‘s style. Henson’s response? “50 Cent is a comedian, he’s a funny guy.” Not the first–or second–impression most people have of 50 Cent.
Then Henson really got going. 50 Cent “is jealous of Terrence. Terrence is light-skinned, he’s dark-skinned. C’mon, people,” said the actress. Terrence Howard wanted no part of that characterization–he quickly chimed in saying 50 Cent wasn’t jealous. “50 is my monster man,” Howard proclaimed. “We were naked together,” Howard said (referring to a scene in 50’s movie Get Rich or Die Tryin’).
