After two years of working as an Entertainment Tonight correspondent, Rocsi Diaz is looking for something bigger. The former BET host of 106 & Park is turning to self-help books for help, and to fans for support. Diaz is starting a book club on Facebook. Yesterday, she posted a photo of pastor Rick Warren’s book The Purpose Driven Life with the caption: “We are just a few days away from day 1. Who picked up their book and journal already???” The day before that, she posted a photo of her (on the beach) reading How Successful People Grow by John C. Maxwell.
Diaz is clearly a fast reader. Two days before reading Maxwell’s book she said she was reading The Tenth Insight, the sequel to The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield.
