Actor Andrew Keegan who starred in the 90s hit film 10 Things I Hate About You has opened a “new age temple and spiritual movement called Full Circle” in the heart of Venice Beach, California. People looking for a new kind of Christian fundamentalism – and there are many seekers – can find Keegan’s Full Circle somewhere in between Gold’s Gym and Google’s new office.
When Vice went for a tour of the church, they reported that some members of “the inner circle” were not ashamed to reveal their “worship of celebrity.” One guy named Stav dropped names including Keegan’s 10 Things I Hate About You co-star Heath Ledger. Keegan isn’t the first celeb to advocate a way of thinking/living/healing. He’s no David Lynch (Transcendental Meditation) or Tom Cruise (Scientology) but Keegan could give the Kundalini movement followed by Demi Moore and Gerard Butler a run for its money.
