Five sisters – Nettie, Mellie, JoAnn, Kayla and Annie – star in TLC’s reality TV show Gypsy Sisters. To give you a flavor of the cast: Nettie is the oldest – she’s 39 and the mother of 9 kids. Mellie is a 25-year-old former stripper who has done jail time. But now that Mellie has a baby, Richard, she’s supposedly learning how to settle down. After getting through the first year of motherhood, she’s looking to date again and “find a good man.” The problem is her approach.
On the next episode of Gypsy Sisters, which airs Thursdays at 9pm on TLC, the gypsy sisters go shopping for clothes. Mellie sets her eyes on a man who works in one of the retail stores. She warns her sisters that she wants to “grab his ass” and before they can stop her she does. “Hey buddy you’re coming home with me,” she tells him. To the camera she explains, “I’m just trying to make this little boy blush and have fun with him.” The man doesn’t appear interested or amused.
