Actress Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything) is in talks to star opposite Tom Hanks in Inferno, the third installment based on the Dan Brown “Da Vinci Code” series. In Inferno, Harvard symbologist Henry Langdon (Hanks) wakes up in Italy with amnesia. With the help of a doctor (possibly Felicity Jones), he recovers and prevents “a madman from releasing a global plague connected to Dante’s Inferno.”
It would be a huge role for Jones who is stirring Oscar buzz for her performance as Jane Hawking in The Theory of Everything. For the role, Jones said she read Jane Hawking’s memoir (Traveling To Infinity, on which the film is based) more than six times. No doubt she’ll do the same with Dan Brown’s thriller, Inferno. However, she might find reading Dante’s Inferno a more fulfilling experience.
