Country singer/Hollywood actor Dwight Yoakam is a busy man. He just released a cover of the Creedance Clearwater Revival song “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” has been touring with Eric Church on The Outsiders World Tour, and he just announced that he’ll perform at the 2015 Tyler Cattle Baron’s Gala (June 13, 2015). It’s an annual fundraising event benefiting the American Cancer Society in Tyler, Texas.
And when not crooning in his cowboy hat and boots, the 58-year-old Grammy award winner is on a TV or film set. This summer, Yoakam had a role on the CBS summer show Under the Dome. He played barbershop owner Lyle Chumley, the town religious zealot. CBS just renewed the big-budget drama for next summer. Think we’ll see more of Lyle?
