On Bravo’s talk show Watch What Happens Next, actress Valerie Bertinelli (One Day at a Time, Hot in Cleveland) talked about a rumored feud she had with pop star Christina Aguilera. Bertinelli said it wasn’t a feud but she was dissed by Aguilera. A long time ago, at a Van Halen concert (when Bertinelli was still married to Eddie Van Halen), Bertinelli went up to Aguilera and said “Oh my god, I think you’re a beautiful singer, blah blah blah,” and according to Bertinelli, Aguilera waved her hand and said, “Yah, whatever.”
Aguilera hasn’t responded in any way since the show. E! thinks “Xtina wouldn’t act like that now.” Now that she’s a mommy of two. Hmmm. Xtina did apologize for messing up the lyrics of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl in 2011. She said she got caught up in her love for the country. Maybe she was just so caught up with the music at the Van Halen concert?
