CBS cancelled the The Millers, a sophomore sitcom full of talent and potential that will now remain untapped. Even the season 2 addition of Will & Grace phenom Sean Hayes couldn’t save Will Arnett and the rest of The Millers once the network took it out of the powerful orbit of The Big Bang Theory. During season 1, The Millers rode in the cushioned spot after Big Bang, doing decently if never well.
CBS let The Millers try to hold its own on Mondays this year with the result that most people will remember The Millers existed only upon hearing news of its being cancelled. 2 Broke Girls, its CBS Monday night intro, couldn’t give The Millers the boost it needed.
