Actor Topher Grace of That 70s Show (Eric Forman) will star in the musical film, One Shot. Grace will play a failed Broadway singer turned production manager who, on opening night, must save the show by wrangling his eccentric cast including one flamboyant actor played by Taye Diggs.
Diggs has Broadway chops – he starred in the stage version of Rent and the film version of Chicago. But Grace? He sang the ABBA song Fernado once to Donna on That 70s Show, and, well, it wasn’t pretty. Funny, yes. Plesant on the ears, no. Maybe he’s improved since. He recently reunited with his former 70s Show castmates – Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Wilmer Valderrama, Danny Masterson and Laura Prepon — they gathered around a piano and sang the lyrics to the show’s theme song “In the Street” (originally performed by Big Star).
