Taylor Swift announced that her upcoming 1989 World Tour will begin May 20, 2015 in North America. She’s going to take the show on the road to Europe and Australia, too, hitting more than 50 cities.
To warm up the crowds, Swift chose 16 year-old Canadian Vine sensation Shawn Mendes (born in 1998) and 26-year-old Australian Vance Joy (born 1987) as her opening acts. If you haven’t heard of either rising star, you were probably born before 1989.
