This week’s episode of Lifetime’s True Tori just might be the best. The stars of the show, Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott, who are trying to make their marriage work after Dean cheated on Tori, throw their 3-year-old daughter Hattie a birthday party at their home. The problem is Tori invited her estranged mother Candy Spelling and Dean McDermott’s ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace. (Dean cheated on her, too, with Tori.)
As guests arrive, Tori gets a migraine headache. She goes up to her bedroom right before her estranged mother Candy Spelling arrives with her friend Tatum O’Neal. That’s right, Ryan O’Neal’s daughter, the youngest actress to have won an Academy Award (Paper Moon), and ex-wife of tennis player John McEnroe, went as Tori’s mother’s plus-one. What’s hilarious is the way O’Neal gets right down to business. As soon as she sits down, she starts telling Dean what to do – to tell Tori to come down and say hello.
