In 2005, country crooner Kenny Chesney married Oscar-winning actress Renee Zellweger (Cold Mountain). They tied the knot in a barefoot beach wedding ceremony in St. John’s. Four months later, Zellweger annulled the marriage. She cited fraud as cause for the annulment but released a statement that said “miscommunication of the objective of their marriage” was the real reason.
After the quick annulment many questioned Chensey’s sexuality. He told Playboy,”I’m pretty confident in the fact that I love girls. (laughs) I’ve got a long line of girls who could testify that I am not gay.” He said he’s just not suited for domestic life. Plus, he has a number of strange hyper hygiene habits. He has said that he showers three times a day because he “can’t stand to be sticky.” And he’s tried hypnosis to quit biting his fingernails.
