Don’t fear–artists throughout history have drawn upon chemical inspiration to help with their designs. And apparently that was the case with the stylist who devised Jennifer Aniston’s famous “Rachel” haircut for Friends. Aniston’s haircut was as big a deal in 1990s pop culture as Hootie and the Blowfish.
“Well, Chris McMillan, who we all know and love, he was loaded when he gave me the haircut,” revealed Aniston in an interview on the Graham Norton show this week. “Stoned out of his mind.” So now next to the stoned painter and the high guitarist among artist cliches, we can place the stoned hairstylist.
