Former WWE Champion CM Punk is trying to diversify his resume. Since leaving the WWE, he’s been hired by Marvel to write a comic book for its Thor franchise, and he’s appeared three times on AMC’s talk show Talking Dead. It’s the show that follows the network’s Walking Dead, where celebrities talk about the episode they just watched.
What’s confusing many fans is the identity of CM Punk. Are fans supposed to think of him as CM Punk, now that he’s no longer in the ring? Or does he now go by his real name, Phil Brooks? His appearances on Talking Dead aren’t helping. On this week’s show he was refered to as CM Punk although there was no mention of his WWE career. But on the show prior to that, he was referred to as Phil Brooks. Which is it?!
