Comedian, actress and writer Chelsea Peretti is brilliant. Before her live comedy show One of the Greats, Peretti tweeted to encourage the audience to bring “any book that’s important to u”–since she felt like signing books and hasn’t written one. The choices of books and the inscriptions are hilarious.
One fan brought in Sister Outsider by feminist poet Audre Lorde; Peretti signed it “This is probably a beautiful book.” Peretti signed a copy of Hedge Funds for Dummies, “Dad stop trying to change me I’m a artist.” And a copy of Allen Iverson’s basketball biography Only the Strong Survive, “I want to know more about his story outside of ‘practice’ – tweet me pix of paragraphs.” She added under her signature, “P.S. Is he ok”
